Live search is unavailable
Check your connection and try again. The built-in Boston guide remains available even when live Google place results cannot load.
Location is not working
Location is optional. On iPhone, open Settings, choose Seek Boston, then allow location while using the app. You can always explore from central Boston without granting access.
A route, hour, or price looks wrong
Conditions change. Confirm time-sensitive details with the venue or directions provider, then report the place on GitHub so it can be reviewed.
Saved trips
Saved places and itineraries stay on your device. Removing the app or clearing browser storage also removes those plans. Use Export backup in My Trip before changing devices or clearing browser data. In the iPhone app, live Google listing details are cleared within 30 days and can be added again from search.
Install on iPhone
In Safari, open Seek Boston, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, turn on Open as Web App, then tap Add. The installed web app opens full screen; live maps and search still need a connection.
